Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients between 18 years-60 years of age 2. Patients who fall within the ASA 1 (American Society of Anaesthesiology) classification 3. Patients with clinical and radiological records indicating that bilateral posterior teeth require extraction

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Immunocompromised patients 2. Acute abscess 3. Mobile teeth 4. Allergic to tetracycline 5. On systemic antibiotics 6. Pregnant and lactating women 7. Surgical third molar removal
