Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for Exposed group - those who are apparently healthy individuals who have been posted as part of COVID-19 duty and must be wearing masks (cloth / surgical mask / N95-FFR / PPE) continuously for at least 2 hours a day for 10 days. Health care workers include faculties, residents, nursing staffs, technicians, attendants, cleaning staffs and office staffs posted in hospital wing. Inclusion criteria for Control group - those who are apparently healthy adults who used mask intermittently and not on continuous basis for more than 2 hours a day. Family members of the hospital staffs and other workers who full fill the criteria included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: health workers having with history of acute or chronic respiratory illness, hemoglobinopathies, chronic inflammatory diseases, cancer, diabetes mellitus or hypertension for more than 5 years duration or with any present manifestation of microangiopathy, pregnant women. Samples insufficient for DNA extraction and If extracted DNA is not of good quality
