Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients of female gender who have attained menopause either spontaneously or surgically induced, of age between 45 to 65years, with the clinical features of dry eye syndrome with OSDI score between 13 to 32 (mild to moderate), schirmer’s test 1 between 5 to 10 mm (mild to moderate) and TBUT in between 5 to 10secs (mild to moderate). 2. Those have given written, informed consent to participate in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Currently taking any of medications or cannot stop taking medication is unsuitable for this clinical trial. 2. Any other ocular surface disease and dry eyes associated with syndromes or systemic disease 3. Patients on steroids and immune- modulatory/ immunosuppression
