Interventions

Intervention1: Integrated Neuromuscular Inhibition Technique with Conventional exercises: INIT includes 3 techniques- ischemic compression, strain-counterstrain technique, and muscle energy technique.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: •20 to 45 years of age group with mechanical neck pain •Those who agree to participate in the study • At least two active MTrPs • Severity of neck pain should be 4 and above measured by VAS

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • History of any major neurological, musculoskeletal disorders, cardiovascular and respiratory diseases. • Neck pain due to cervical spine pathology • Any history of cervical trauma, fractures, or dislocations • Carcinoma • Uncooperative subjects • Subjects not willing to participate in the study
