Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients having stage II and stage III periodontitis (AAP2017 Classification) Chronic periodontitis with diabetes mellitus patients with blood sugar levels greater than 200mg/dl.and having DM type 2 >5 yrs .

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Medically compramised other than type2 diabetes mellitus. Pregnancy and lactating women. Patient who are on vitamin supplements. Smokers and tobacco chewers.
