Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients within the age range of 25â??65 years with wasting diseases and/or gingival recession. Patients having no fewer than 2 sensitive permanent dental surfaces (incisor, canine, or premolar buccal/facial aspects). Patients with pain having Visual Analogue Score >=4.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who have undergone periodontal treatment in last six months. Pregnant or nursing females. Patients who have dental caries and grossly decayed teeth i.e involving pulp. Negative behaviours include drinking alcohol or smoking. Antibiotic use in the six months before to the study. Systemic diseases.
