Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients between 18 to 75 years of age scheduled for elective surgery under General anaesthesia requiring tracheal intubation. 2. American Society of Anaesthesiologists physical status grade I , II and III

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Mallampati grade >III 2. Mouth opening 3. Oropharyngeal pathology 4. Clinical or Radiographic evidence of cervical spine pathology 5. Emergency surgery 6. Pregnancy 7. Refusal of consent
