Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients fulfilling the criteria for bipolar disorder as per the DSM-5 based on a semi-structured clinical interview, 2) age more than 18 years, 3) duration of illness - at least 10 years, 4) either gender, 5) able to read Kannada/English, 6) provided written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with evidence of organic brain syndrome or intellectual disability, 2) bipolar disorder secondary to any organic causex, 3) unwilling to participate in study, 4) violent/ uncooperative patients, 5) Medically not fit to participate.
