Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy Indian population between the age of 18 to 35 years, both sex who can read and write English are included in all the below groups. Group 1 (Control group)- Healthy volunteers who have a sedentary lifestyle not actively involving any type of exercises. Group 2 (Aerobic exercise) â?? Participants involved actively in either of these (Brisk walking/ jogging / cycling / swimming) exercise for 50 minutes at least 3-4 times in a week (de Brito et al.) Group 3- (Resistant exercise) include- Participants involved actively in 6 exercises(chest /shoulder/legs/ back / arm/calf) , 3 sets at 40% 1RM (Repetition maximum) with 45-s rest periods or 10 reps at 80% 1RM with 60-s rest periods for 3-4 times in a week (Rezk et al. (2006)) Group 4 â?? (Yoga practice)- Participants involved actively in Yogic practices for minimum of 45 minutes every day (except menstruation days in females)- which includes following set of asanas: Trikonasana, Parshvakonasana, Paschimottanasana, Purvottanasana, janushirshasana, pavanamuktasana, bhujangasana, shalabhasana,paryankasana,pasottasnasana. (Pitale et al. 2015)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Based on health history, subjects should be free from any chronic illness that could alter cardiovascular autonomic function or on any regular medications that affect autonomic system. Subjects should not smoke or consume coffee/any stimulant on the day of testing. Subject who canâ??t follow English language will be excluded.

Compare the long-term effect of different exercise regimes (Resistant vs Aerobic vs yoga in trained individuals) on cardiovascular health by assessing cardiac autonomic parameters like Heart Rate variability(HRV) and Heart rate Recovery(HRR)following a single bout of sub maximal exercise Timepoint: Baseline reading HRV and HRR are recorded during the exercise testing protocol. 2nd reading of HRV is recorded 10 mins after the exercise testing

This study assess the correlation of Physical activity level, Body composition & Body mass index(BMI) on cardiac autonomic parameters in healthy population Timepoint: All above parameters are measured only one time as baseline parameters just before the exercise testing protocol
