Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: A. Patients more than 18 years of age - Closed fractures and Grade 1 compound fractures (Gustilo Anderson classification) B. Fracture less than 2 weeks old C. Reudi and Algower type I, II, III fractures

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: A. Patients less than18 years, patients more than 60years. B. Medical contraindication for surgery. C. Fracture more than 2 weeks old - Grade 2&3 compound Fractures (Gustilo Anderson classification) D. Severely mangled extremity, E. Pathological fractures

MeasureTime frame
To document and correlate the functional scores and radiological parameters of distal third tibia fractures treated by minimally invasive percutaneous plate osteosynthesis. Timepoint: 1.5 years

MeasureTime frame
To document the major and minor complications associated with this treatment modality. Timepoint: 1.5 years
