Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients between 18 to 60 years of age Systemically healthy patients with bilateral mandibular molars except third molar indicated for extraction. Patients willing to participate in the prescribed study and are providing informed consent Patient willing to report for follow-up.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with systemic disorders such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, blood dyscrasias and immuno-compromised status •Patients on drug therapy afflicting wound healing and haemostasis •Patients allergic to penicillin or other drugs which will be used in the standardized postoperative therapy •Patients undergoing or planned for radiotherapy and chemotherapy •Patients refusing to attend all scheduled visits
