Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Female of reproductive age group Diagnosed with PCOS. Menstrual irregularities. Ultrasound findings of polycystic ovaries. Clinical evidence of hirsutism and/or acne. Patients/guardians willing to give consent /assent for study. Patients complying with regular follow-up visit.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Women who have secondary amenorrhoea due to thyroid disorders, anaemia or any uterine pathology. Women with Diabetes mellitus, cushingâ??s disease, hyper-prolectinemia and congenital abnormalities. Women under birth control pill, hormone therapies. Any other chronic disease for which patient is taking any medication. Women who have under gone D&C. Pregnant and breast-feeding women. Women who are not coming regular follow-ups.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Regularization of menstrual cycle for 2 consecutive cycles. Quality of Life assessed by PCOSQ scale. (polycystic ovarian syndrome health- related Quality of life Questionnaire) Timepoint: 0, 3 & 6 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Changes in USG. (0, 3and 6 months.) Miasmatic assessment through works of Dr Hahnemann, Dr Kent, Dr H A Roberts & Dr J H Allen.Timepoint: 0, 3 & 6 months
