Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients older than 18 years. 2. Patients posted for elective surgery. 3. Patients able to understand and read Kannada. 4. Patients giving consent to participate in study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients posted for caesarean section. 2. Patients with known psychiatric disorders and/ or history of substance dependence/abuse 3. Patients on anti psychotropic medication. 4. Patients posted for emergency surgeries.
