Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: posted for cardiac surgery requiring transesophageal echocardiography

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: pacemaker implantation, atrial fibrillation, right ventricular dysfunction, moderate to severe pulmonary hypertension, organic tricuspid valve dysfunction, cardiac tamponade or any other contraindication for tranesophageal echocardiography.
