Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children scheduled to undergo central venous catheterization through the right internal jugular vein will be included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with chest deformity, dextrocardia, coagulopathy, infection at local site and pre-existing arrhythmias and central vein catheterization other than right internal jugular vein will be excluded from the study.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Identify the best technique for predicting the ideal depth of insertion of Central venous catheter through Right internal jugular vein, to ensure the ideal placement of the catheter tip in pediatric patients.Timepoint: 9 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Complication occurring due to inappropriate catheter positioning : Arrthymia, perforation of the heart or great vessels , Pneumothorax, valvular insufficiency. Timepoint: 9 months
