Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients exhibiting insomnia, as assessed by the DSM-V Diagnostic Criteria for Insomnia 2) Patients between 18-60 years of age 3) All genders 4) Insomnia severity index >=8 5) Ability to communicate verbally and respond study instrument 6) Willingness to participate in the study and able to sign informed consent 7) Patients having history of Insomnia > 3months

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Previous history of known psychiatric disorders 2) Night shift workers 3) Consumption of caffeine beverages (i.e., tea, coffee, or cola) comprising usually more than 5 cups or glasses per day 4) Participation in another trial for insomnia 5) Persons with a history of epilepsy, seizures, or dementia 6) Any significant, severe or unstable, acute or chronically progressive medical or surgical condition
