Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Duration of Surge 1-3 hours Patients undergoing elective lower abdominal or lower limb surgery under spinal anesthesia. ASA I, II, III MPC I & II Patients willing to participate in the study Patient fulfilling criteria for subarachnoid block

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Lack of valid informed written consent ASA grade III and IV Infection at the subarachnoid block injection site Patients with neurological and musculoskeletal disease Patients with bleeding disorders Patients on anticoagulants Abnormal preoperative ECG associated with arrhythmia Patient with history of heart disease or circulatory insufficiency

Spinal anesthesia will cause a more significant prolongation of the QTc interval in patients with diabetes than in those withoutTimepoint: 10 minutes after spinal anaesthesia
