Intervention1: Vitamin D supplementation among patients found to be deficient in Vitamin D: Oral supplementation of Vitamin D 60,000 IU weekly for 4 weeks followed by alternate weekly for 4 weeks

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with dry eye disease
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients showing evidence of or known cases of connective tissue disorders likely to directly be the cause of the dry eye disease. 2. Patients with dry eye syndrome occurring as a side effect of systemic treatment with drugs/radiation that are likely to be stopped over the course of this study (thus affecting the dry eye status)
