Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects who underwent Incision & Drainage procedure. Subjects aged between 21-70 years. Subjects irrespective of gender, religion, occupation, economic status and education status.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects with internal abscess. Subjects with tuberculosis, syphilis, immuno compromised diseases. Subjects with cold abscess & breast abscess.

TENDERNESS Grade 0: Tolerance to pressure Grade 1: Little response to pressure Grade 2: wincing effect of super slight touch Grade 3: Resist to touch and rigidity FLOOR GRANULATION TISSUE Grade 0: Red granulation tissue Grade 1: pale and smooth granulation tissue Grade 2: patchy granulation tissue Grade 3: Slough. MICROBIOLOGY PUS CULTURE on 0th day and 7th day.Timepoint: Total duration of study: - 21 days. Duration of treatment: - 7 days (Assessment will be made on 0th, 2nd, 4th and 7th day) Follow up period:- 14 days (Observation will be done on 14th and 21st day to observe wound healing).
