Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1)Children within the age group of 6 to 10 years 2)Cooperative behaviour for dental treatment under local anaesthesia. 3)Children undergoing pulp therapy or extraction of mandibular molars requiring Inferior Alveolar Nerve Block (IANB). 4)Children with positive behaviour (+) and definitely positive behaviour (++) according to the Frankl Behaviour Rating Scale.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Children with a history of allergy to any of the constituents of the local anaesthetic solution. 2) Children undergoing root canal treatment or extraction of permanent teeth. 3) Children suffering from systemic conditions, particularly cardiovascular or thyroid disorders, physically handicapped and medically compromised children, where use of local anaesthesia is contraindicated. 4) Children requiring pulp therapy of an abscessed tooth/non vital pulp. 5) Children indicated for treatment under aversive conditioning. 6) Children not visiting with their parents/guardians.
