Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. ASA 1 or 2 2. Infraumbilical surgeries 3. Spinal anesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Febrile 2. Emergency surgery 3. Paediatric 4. Present or history of peptic ulcer disease 5. Glaucoma 6. Diabetes mellitus 7. Established chronic renal failure 8. Pre-existing Hepatic diseases 9. Pregnant 10. surgeries expected to last more than 3 hours 11. Failure of spinal anesthesia 12. Patients on intravenous steroids.
