Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Age 18 -70 years. • ICU stay for more than 48 hours. • Patients in sepsis whose culture sample growing CRE.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Patient refusal. • Patients with severe comorbidity like- advanced staged malignancy, malignant stroke or intracerebral hemorrhage, head injury, moderate â??massive hemorrhage, thorax injury, etc.

To assess the incidence and prevalence of specific carbapenemases producing Enterobacteriaea by genotyping in intensive care units (ICU).Timepoint: after 06 months
