Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients with American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) Grade I or II 2. Patients with age 20-60 years 3. Patients undergoing thorasic and upper abdominal surgeries 4. Patients with no contraindications for peripheral area anaesthetic block
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) Grade III or IV 2. Patients with contraindications for local anaesthesia 3. Pre existing infection at the block site 4.Pre existing chronic pain or recognised dysfunction 5. Patient with abnormal blood coagulation 6. History of opioid abuse as this would stop the patient from taking part in postoperative quality of recovery and analgesia evaluation.
