Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Children of either sex between 5to 15 yrs of age; who were suffering from Tonsillitis. 2.Children fulfilling the description of Tonsillitis / Tundikeri Shotha described in our texts.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Age below 5 years and above 15 years. 2.Children having any systemic disorders like TB, DM, Cardiac and renal problems. 3.Children having any congenital anomaly. 4.Children suffering from peri-tonsillar abscess, tonsillar cyst, and tonsillolith.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1.To study the etiopathogenesis of Tonsillitis from different medical aspect of Ayurveda and modern. 2. To evaluate the effect of Pathya - Apathya in management of Tonsillitis.Timepoint: Follow Up- The patient will be assessed on 1stday, 15th day, 30th day, 45th day of visit.
