Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • No episode of bleeding at the time of inclusion of patients • Platelet refractory hemato-oncological patients( diagnosis:-aplastic anemia, acute myeloid leukemia, lymphoma, acute lymphoid leukemia, multiple myeloma)with thrombocytopenia having CCI count less than 5,000 at 24 hours post transfusion after two consecutive Single donor Apheresis platelet (SDAP) transfusions

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: non refractory cases patients having Pyrexia Patients with infection(viral, bacterial and fungal) Patient on drugs causing TCP Bleeding episode DIC Splenomegaly

MeasureTime frame
To note and compare CCI,PPR after transfusion of SDAP units.Timepoint: 24hors post transfusion.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To check bleeding and change in transfusion interval.Timepoint: 24hours post transfusion to 1week.
