Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1] Presence of atleast one active or latent trigger points and pain duration of more than one week with palpable tender spots in the unilateral upper trapezius muscle. 2] Individuals aged between the age group of 20-40 years. 3] Positive jump sign characterized by patient vocalization or withdrawal
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1] History of the neck and upper back region fracture. 2] History of referred pain due to cervical pathology. 3] Dermatitis over the upper back region. 4] Wound over the neck. 5] Taking corticosteroids orally or intravenously or narcotics
