Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) First time ischemic stroke 2) Age 40-65 years 3) Stroke interval before study onset 4-8 weeks 4) Upper limb paresis with no or only slight volitional activity of the wrist and finder extension 5)Initial upper limb Fugal-meyar assessment score(FMA) 6) Able to give written informed consent to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) included other neurological or orthopedic arm impairments, 2) Active cancer, severe obstructive pulmonary disease, shoulder pain refractory to standard therapy, and swollen hand sufficient to prevent closing of the fist 3) Any disorder or disease that may hinder collection of data
