Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Clinically diagnosed cases of acanthosis nigricans on neck. 2.Patients between the age of 18-50 years 3.All genders. 4.Known cases of Serum Insulin Resistance, Metabolic Syndrome and PCOD. 5.Patients who will give consent and able to do follow up.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Pregnant and lactating women. 2.Patients having acanthosis >5 years. 3.Patients who previously applied topical treatments like retinoid, hydroquinone, or corticosteroid or any depigmenting agents or any cosmetic procedure within 1 month prior to study. 4.Patients who took following medications like contraception pill, nicotinic acid, steroid, estrogen, niacin, protease inhibitors, within 1 month of study. 5.Types of acanthosis other than benign and endocrine type. 6.K/H/O malignancy
