MeasureTime frame
To treat chronic periodontitis with the scaling and root planing combined with photodynamic therapy along with 0xygen gel Clinical parameters such as gingival index, plaque index, bleeding on probing, probing depth are recorded at baseline and 6 week post therapy from both the groups by a blinded investigator. Microbiological analysis of periodontopathogen, Porphyromonas gingivalis is done by collecting the sub-gingival plaque samples using curette and sent to RtPCR assessment at baseline and after 6 week. Timepoint: baseline and after 6 week.
