Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients having symptoms of pain in the lumbar region,Radiating pain to buttocks and lower limb,stiffness present in lumbar region Exacerbation of pain on movements,pain increased on forward bending,tingling sensation and numbness Patients who are willing to give radiological investigation and provide blood for lab investigation Patients who are willing for admission and stay IPD or willing to attend OPD patient willing to sign informed consent document

Exclusion criteria: Congenital anomalies Autoimmmune diseases Inflammatory arthritis associated with HLA B27 Scheuermanns disease Paget disease of bone Infectious diseases Inflammatory bowel diseases Osteoporotic fracture Traumatic fracture Diabetes mellitus Neoplasia Cardiac diseases Liver diseases Renal diseases Pregnant women and lactating mother Patient with any other serious illness

Outcome of the clinical trial is mainly assessed by reduction in the clinical symptoms by following assessments Femoral nerve stretch test Straight leg raise test Oswestry Low back disability index Functional strength of lumbar spine Comparision of change from baseline in Oswestry Low back Disability Index at day 48 between group I & group II Study will reveal the effectiveness of Varmam manipulation & the trial drug for the management of Korai Vatham (Lumbar spondylosis with radiculopathy)Timepoint: 48 days
