Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients within age group of 18 to 40 years. 2) Patients of both sex. 3) Patients having bilaterally impacted lower third molars.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patient with a previous history of allergy or adverse reaction/event with local anesthetics, analgesics or antibiotics. 2) Pregnant/lactating females. 3) Patient with the history of bleeding disorders. 4) Patient using contraceptive medicines or corticosteroids which can affect the post-surgical healing phase and amount of swelling on face. 5)Patient who are unable to cooperate due to underlying medical conditions. 6) Patient who are unwilling to give informed consent.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1) Post operative Pain 2) Trismus 3) Swelling 4) HealingTimepoint: baseline, 1st, 3rd and 7th post-operative days.
