Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient of ASA-I â?? ASA-II physical status Patient between 18-65 years of age of either gender Patient with Mallampati grade I-II Patient posted for elective surgeries under General Anaesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient refusal to participate Patients with suspected difficult airway and Mallampati grade III & IV Patient with pregnancy, morbid obesity, and history of sore throat Patient transferred to ICU intubated after operation under General Anaesthesia Patients with known allergies to any local anaesthetics

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Incidence of post operative sore throat at the sixth hour (6th) postoperatively. Timepoint: 6 hours postoperatively

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To assess incidence and severity of pain on deglutition, hoarseness, coughTimepoint: 0,2,4,6,12,24 hours;To assess the incidence of Post Operative Sore Throat (POST) after General Anaesthesia post operativelyTimepoint: 0,2,4.12,24 hours
