Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Systemically healthy patients. Patients indicated for periodontal surgery: crown lengthening procedures; periodontal flap surgery in chronic periodontitis patients. Non-smokers.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Medically compromised patients. Patients allergic to the medicaments used in this study. Patients having habit of consuming tobacco in any form. Pregnant and lactating women. Patients on any drug therapy which may affect the outcome of the present study. Patients diagnosed with aggressive periodontitis.
