Interventions

Intervention1: Soft Tissue Diode Laser for pocket therapy: All the quadrants will be operated with Kirkland flap and will receive active lasing using Soft tissue Diode LASER having wavelength of 810/9

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients requiring open flap debridement in atleast two quadrants across the midline. 2) Diagnosed cases of Stage II and Grade B Generalized Periodontitis 3) Patients having at least 6 teeth present in each quadrant.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with a history of systemic/local antibiotic therapy within 6 months. 1) Current/Past history of tobacco use. 2) Pregnant and lactating women. 3) Patients in other than ASA-I - physical status. 4) Patients with plaque and bleeding scores = 20% at 4 weeks after phase I therapy
