Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients between age group 18-80 years undergoing traumatic below knee orthopaedic surgery ASA physical status I-III of both sex

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a) Patient refusal b) Allergy to local anaesthetic drugs c) Chronic opioid therapy d) Thrombocytopenia/coagulopathy, e) Anti-coagulant and thrombolytic therapy f) Morbid obesity (BMI >35 with obesity symptoms or BMI > 40) g) Neurological diseases h) Infections in the intervention site i) Patients with psychiatric illness
