Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Subjects who fulfills diagnostic criteria of Bhagandara(fistula-in-ano) such as ruk, kandu, daha, srava, and shopha around perianal region. 2. Subjects aged between 21-70 years, irrespective of gender, religion, occupation, economic status and educational status.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Subjects who are Immuno-compromised and anaemic. 2. Fistula-in-ano associated with other anorectal disorders such as Carcinoma of rectum and anal canal, 3rd degree Hemorrhoids or bleeding hemorrhoids, acute fissure-in-ano, thrombosed sentinel pile. 3. Fistula-in-ano caused secondary to or associated with diseases like- Tuberculosis, Crohnâ??s disease, Ulcerative colitis, Osteomyelitis, Veneral diseases, HIV, Appendicitis, Regional Ileitis and Intestinal & Pelvic Malignancies.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Reduction in the length of the fistulous tract. Maximizing the unit cutting time. Timepoint: 7th,14th,21st and 28th Day

Reduction in the classical symptoms of Bhagandara(fistula-in-ano)Timepoint: 14th and 28th Day
