Inclusion criteria: INDOOR OLDER PATIENTS AGED ABOVE 60 YEARS. HOSPITAL DIAGNOSED CASE OF ALL TYPES OF PNEUMONIA . PATIENT WILLING TO GIVE CONSENT FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE STUDY

To describe the drug prescribing pattern in older patients pneumonia using WHO indicators:- (a) Average number of drugs per encounter. (b) Percentage of drug prescribed by generic name. (c) Percentage of encounters with an antimicrobials prescribed. (d) Percentage of encounters with an injection prescribed. (e) Percentage of drugs prescribed from Essential Drugs List (EDL), Rajasthan. (According to 22th list, 2022) 2.To estimate the proportion of cases where drugs are being prescribed according to Standard Treatment guidelines . Timepoint: 1 YEAR—

1. To describe the clinical and sociodemographic profile of older patients with pneumonia. 2. To determine the percentage of cases who experienced adverse drug reaction within one week of admission. 3.
