Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children of both genders between 3-5 years of age with S-ECC. Children of parents who agree to take part in the study by signing an informed consent. Children without any acute or chronic disease. Children without any history of antibiotic medication 2 months prior to study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Unco-operative children. Children with special health care need. Children with a recent history of hospitalization. Children with salivary gland disorders. Children who are on medication affecting saliva production.
