Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of either sex with age between 18-50years. Newly diagnosed stage 1 Primary Hypertensive patients.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Primary Hypertension other than Stage 1 e.g. Stage 2 , Benign Hypertension , Malignant Hypertension , Isolated Hypertension. Secondary Hypertension. Stage 1, Primary Hypertension patients on regular medications. Stage 1, Primary Hypertension patients with co morbidities. Pregnant women and lactating mother. Gestational Hypertension.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Improvement in the symptoms of Vyana Bala Vaishamya(Hypertension). Reduction in the Blood Pressure readings, will be assessed on 15th and 30th day.Timepoint: Improvement in the symptoms of Vyana Bala Vaishamya(Hypertension) and blood pressure readings will be assessed for 30 days.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The study will provide cost effective , safe drug with lesser side effects.Timepoint: Duration of study-12 Months. The outcome will be assessed at 15th and 30th day of study.
