Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. All donors who have consented for donor nephrectomy and participating for the study. 2. Each resident should have assisted at least 15 donor nephrectomies before participating in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Donor nephrectomies which are done by consultant transplant surgeons completely. 2. Donors who refused consent

To compare time taken and ability to complete different steps of donor nephrectomy (HADN vs. TLDN) among trainee surgeonsTimepoint: 8 months

Warm ischemia time Length of hospital stay Creatinine, at postoperative day 1,2, at discharge, at 1month Post operative complications by Clavein Dindo scoring. Mean blood loss Resumption of diet Timepoint: 8 months
