Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: age of patient between 30 years and 60 years, known case of type 2 diabetes with history of equal to or more than 5 years, fasting blood sugar level equal to or more than 126mg/dl fasting with no caloric intake for at least 8 hours, post prandial blood sugar level equal to or more than 200mg/dl, HbA1C equal to or more than 6.5 percentage, patients who are on Metformine 500 mg od and Glimipiride 1mg od, patients who are willing to follow diabetes diet and exercise, patients of any sex religion and socioeconomic status

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients with Serum creatinine equal to or more than 2.0 mg/dl or on dialysis, induced Diabetes as side effect of drugs like Diuretics thiazide groups, Steroids, induced Diabetes due to Gestational period or stress or anxiety or surgery, patients having history of major systemic illness, patients having Fasting blood sugar level less than 126mg/dl and more than 300mg/dl and Post Prandial blood sugar level less than 200mg/dl and more than 400mg/dl, Patients who are not willing to follow diabetic diet and exercise, Pregnant and lactating female patients.
