Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients 18 years and above admitted in ICU for critical care .

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.History of hematological malignancy 2.Anaemia 3.Age less than 18 years 4.Pregnant patients 5.Patients with history of coagulopathy 6.Patients who have recieved platelet transfusion in the past 24 hours 7.Patients on chemotherapy or antiplatelet medication

MeasureTime frame
Final outcome of changing trends of blood parameters with severity of illness will be recorded .Timepoint: At admission to ICU, Day 3 of admission to ICU

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Final outcome of changing trends of blood parameters with severity of illness will be recorded .Timepoint: Day of admission to ICU and after 72 hours .
