Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA GRADE 1 & 2 adult patients undergoing general anaesthesia with cuffed oral endotracheal tube requiring nasogastric tube placement

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients having oral or nasopharyngeal mass or swelling ,nasal deformity ,nasal deformity ,nasal polyp,deviated nasal septum. 2.Polytrauma /facial Trauma patients . 3.Patients with coagulation or bleeding disorders (derranged aPTT,BT,CT,platelet count ). 4.Oesophageal varices or oesophageal stricture or history of corrosive ingestion. 5.Pregnancy

1.Failure of technique 2.The incidence of coiling ,kinking and knotting of nasogastric tube will be noted 3.Adverse events like mucosal injury and epistaxis .Timepoint: The above parameters will be assessed at 1 min ,2 min and the end of each technique .—
