Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. New and follow up cases of Hypertension (Systolic BP more than 160 or Diastolic BP more than or equal to 100), attending out Patient department of General Medicine at SMS Hospital Jaipur. 2. Patients Who to give informed consent for participation in the study.

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients not willing to give informed consent for participation in the study.

Proportion of cases in various categories (I.e., Age, Sex, Geographical area, and Co-morbid conditions.) Prescribed pattern of anti-hypertensive Drugs by using WHO prescribing indicators.Timepoint: 8 weeks
