Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA 1-3 scheduled for hip surgeries

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Any bleeding tendency and on anticoagulant therapy • Peripheral neuropathy, allergy to amide local anaesthetics • Mental disorders, local infection at injection site • Patients who can sit comfortably or received analgesia 8 hrs prior to surgery • Patients who refuse to participate in study will be excluded
