Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients of either sex in the age group of above 18 years and below 70 years 2.Patient with classical signs and symptoms of prameha (Type 2 DM) 3.Fasting plasma glucose between 126mg/dl to 220mg/dl or Post Prandial plasma glucose level 200mg/dl to 300 mg/dl 4.HbA1c between 6.5% - 11% 5.Only uncomplicated cases of prameha (Type 2 DM)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient having Diabetes mellitus Type-1 [IDDM] 2.Patients with other metabolic and endocrine disorders 3.Patients having any other malignancies, any other serious illness 4.Patients having chronic complications of Type 2 Diabetes 5.Other chronic debilitating disease like STD etc. 6.Pregnant and lactating women
