Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: MALE AND FEMALE GENDER above 18 years COMING UNDER THE DIAGNOSIS OF SEPSIS

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Poor echo window Pregnant women Previous known anatomical or functional cardiac dysfunction Known case of Cor pulmonale, COPD.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To assess the ability of TAPSE and MAPSE in predicting the 30th -day outcome in patients with sepsis / septic shockTimepoint: 30th day and at completion of 3rd month

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To assess the association of echo parameters with the length of ICU stay, duration of mechanical ventilation, association with delta sofa score and 3-month mortality. To also assess which echocardiogram parameters is better predictor of mortality.Timepoint: follow up till 3 months
