Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Animal bite cases requiring post-exposure prophylaxis and visiting the Anti-Rabies Vaccine OPD [OPD No23] at KEM Hospital- second visit onwards (Annexure I: Category and the management of animal bite is attached). Age 18 and above years. Willing to give written, informed consent Age between 7-17 years willing to give both verbal or written assent, either of the parents/guardian consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Category I animal bites (Annexure I: Category and the management of animal bite is attached) The individuals coming for pre-exposure prophylaxis (e.g. dog owners)
