Interventions

Intervention1: PROSO MILLET: 40 gm PER DAY Intervention2: PROSO MILLET: 40 gm/day. COOKED PROSO MILLET HAS TO BE CONSUMED IN A DAY IN LUNCH. THEY HAVE TO CONSUME THIS MILLET FOR A DURATION OF 90 DAYS.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult stable type 2 diabetic subjects Willingness to participate in the study Physicianâ??s consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of chronic illness Taking any supplements Consumption of various functional foods Allergic to supplementation ofProso millet Smokers or tobacco chewers Thyroid disorder HbA1C >9 Subjects on Insulin and or statin Those consuming Proso millet regularly
