Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients who were hemodynamically stable American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) grade Iâ??III
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients who were pregnant; Patients on chronic steroids; Patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; Patients with malignant ulcers confirmed by pre-operative histopathological examination, Patients who required postoperative intensive care unit (ICU) care
